As i can not embed the scene due to youtube playing up i have attatched the URL. Dawn of the dead has a great opening. It is obviously a horror film, and although it shouldn't it made me feel like laughing. The credits are very uneasy and quite gruesome, with flashing images of scary zombies and lots of blood. The song that commences with the credits is a very upbeat song, but once you listen to the lyrics you realise it's very fit to purpose, as the song's called "it's the end of the world (as we know it)". The camera effects are very creepy and gruesome, which make the opening professional. The opening credits have news footage which makes it look realistic.
This film also has a spoof called 'Shaun of the dead' which is appropriiate to the genre I would like to look at. It's a horror/comedy film, which I would like to look in to for my media piece.
